How to adjust Flow bindings?

A well-adjusted Flow snowboard binding provides solid support and is easy to get into. To achieve this, here are the steps to follow. This operation is done by hand, by handling the boots on the board. We recommend doing this in a quiet environment without wearing your boots. Working on a table is ideal for comfort.

If you’re looking for tips before buying a pair of bindings, we answer all your questions in our buyer’s guide on how to choose snowboard bindings.

First step: open the binding completely and centre the boot on it

In this step, you need to remove the strap by undoing the ratchets, then open the high back by actioning the lever located behind the latter. When the binding is completely open, place your boot, trying to centre it as best as possible, both back and forth and left to right.

Second step: close the binding and centre the strap

When the boot is centred, close the binding. To do so, put the high back up and lock the lever, then instal the strap, try to centre it, making sure it wraps the boot evenly.

Third step: make sure getting in the binding is easy

When the strap is centred, open the high back again and try to get the boot in and out. This should be easy to do, effortlessly.

Step four: try the heel support

When you’re sure you can enter the boot through the back, check if the rear of the boot is held snug. Push the boot from below and check if the heel lifts. If it does, your straps aren’t tight enough. Adjust them and try again. Your binding is set up when the heel of the boots remains perfectly in place.
