Description

We offer skis for sale with defects in appearance. They are new, guaranteed by the manufacturer and have no construction-manufacturing defects. The silkscreen has been scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse. The skis have been resealed after initial drilling. A condition rating has been established: this ski has been classified as 2*, i.e. it has relatively inconspicuous defects.

The Session 90 features a lightweight Karuba wood core, 5 Axis Carbon braiding for minimum weight and maximum performance in varied conditions thanks to excellent torsional rigidity. This is a truly performance-oriented ski, both in its construction and its shape, with, for example, the choice of a flat heel rather than a double rocker for greater grip and efficiency on hard snow. There's also a double titanium reinforcement plate under the foot to prevent binding rips.

What's in it for the Movement Session 90 ski?

With the Session 90, Movement offers a top-of-the-range touring ski that's light on the ascent (around 1,380 g per ski in size 178 cm) but also highly efficient and secure on the descent. Thanks to its classic camber, flat tail and torsional rigidity, it offers excellent grip, whether for conversion ascents or hard snow descents. The rocker and volume in the front tip, as well as the 90 mm runner, provide float and lift in fresh snow. So here's a touring ski with which you can set off on long outings without getting into difficulty on the ascent, and which allows you to engage strongly on the descent on varied terrain and conditions.

Who is the Movement Session 90 ski designed for?

We recommend this model to advanced to expert skiers looking for a high-performance touring ski, offering them effective, secure grip on both the ascent and descent, and excellent skiability on the descent over varied terrain.

What are the main qualities of the Movement Session 90 ski?

Grip

Stability

Excellent weight/performance ratio

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
