Description
The Cochise 106 from Blizzard is not a ski to put under anyone’s foot. Designed for aggressive freeriding, it requires a very advanced or even expert level as well as good physical condition because of its punchy construction. Indeed, it features a powerful wood core, a double titanal plate and carbon reinforcements at the nose and tail. It offers a firm flex and very good torsional stiffness, which allows to hold the edge firmly and gather speed without chattering. The 106 mm at the waist remain rather conventional for a freeride program, which allows to have a well-rounded ski, not limited to deed powder. Despite its powerful construction and classic camber that provides grip and stability, it remains nimble thanks to its double rocker that facilitates tuns and pivots. A ski to shred the backcountry.
