The E Lite 8 Konect women’s ski from Dynastar is a dynamic performance model designed for piste skiing. It will offer nice sensations to skilled skiers, who will be able to express themselves as they wish on groomed snow.

What is the program of the Dynastar E Lite 8 Konect ski?

The E Lite 8 Konect ski is designed to be used exclusively on groomed runs. Its 75 mm waist will allow you to be swift and dynamic on your edge transfers, to change paces and turn radiuses. It is still wide enough to adapt to the various types of snow you can encounter. It will provide great skiability on pistes thanks to its classic camber and subtle front rocker. Its sandwich construction with full sidewalls on the entire length of the ski enhances its torsional stiffness and provides excellent grip. In addition, this ski features the V Tech technology, which relies on reinforcements to provide both stiffness, power and torsion control on the body of the ski. This enables to shade weight at the perimeter of the waist, for more comfort and nimbleness. The core of the E Lite 8 Konect is made of a combination of poplar and polyurethane. This technology called Hybrid Core provides a good balance between flexibility, resistance and lightness.

The Dynastar E Lite 8 Konect is made for skiers with a skill level ranging from advanced to expert. This is the type of ski that will provide excellent snow feel on groomed runs. While it remains demanding, it is still easier to handle than the E Lite 9 Konect and its 68 mm waist.

How to choose the length of your skis?

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?
On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options: 

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show. 

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products. 

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
