The Kore 85 W is a women’s ski that is meant for all-mountain skiing. Head has used refined materials and techniques, allowing it to be particularly lightweight while being efficient. This way, you can experience a true sensation of freedom with a manoeuvrable, not energy consuming and all-terrain ski.

What is the program of the Head Kore 85 W ski?

With its modern construction and quality materials, the Kore 85 W women’s all-mountain ski from Head is quick to handle and easy to manoeuvre in the entire resort, be it on or off-piste. The 85 mm wide waist provides versatility to ski as well on groomed snow as in deeper snow around trees, while dampening the vibrations from the terrain. Its lightweight and sturdy wood core is reinforced by carbon layers, to improve the dynamism and vivacity of the Kore 85 W. To make this ski as light as possible while making it efficient, Head has injected graphene in the tip and tail. Graphene is simply the lightest and strongest material there is, 300 times stronger than steel! You can be sure it will provide all its power to the Kore 85 W without impairing its manoeuvrability. Finally, the double rocker paired to classic camber help to negotiate your turns well, even in shallow powder.

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?

At glisshop.co.uk, you’ll find one of the most comprehensive ski selections available online. To choose the right pair, start with three simple criteria: your ability level, your preferred terrain (piste, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle, touring), and your budget.

To refine your selection, several options are available:

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
