Description

The Blend is one of the most famous skis made by Line. It has been on the market for years, and its reputation speaks for itself, it is one of the most playful skis ever made. The tips and tails are very flexible, which offers a lot of possibilities in terms of tricks in the park. On piste and in the powder, it is still a fun ski for a freestyle oriented skier.

What is the program of the Line Blend?

The Blend is a freestyle ski that is fun everywhere. It is twin-tipped, and both extremities are very soft, making it a great tool to jib. It is probably one of the best skis to do some butters and other tricks that imply bending the skis. With a 100mm waist, the receptions are stable enough to do some pretty big jumps. That width is also useful when it comes to powder skiing. It is designed to spend a lot of time in the park, but the Blend can also be used as a one quiver ski. The float is good in fresh snow, and on hard snow, the grip is good at medium to medium-high speed.

Who is the Line Blend for?

The Blend is made for skiers who are looking for a ski to spend time in the park and doing any kind of tricks, especially on rails or on small jumps. It is very forgiving, and an intermediate skier or someone who wants to get more into park skiing should not be scared of going for the Blend. An expert skier will also be very happy with those skis because of the possibilities that they will offer. If you want to spend time on the groomers or in the powder, the Blend will be there for you. While an aggressive skier will find it too soft, a playful skier will have a great time.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
