The skis from the Fly range are praised for their ability to satisfy backcountry freestyle enthusiasts. The Fly 105 presented here sits between the Fly 95 and the Fly 115. It features a good width to float easily in powder and guarantee the landing after flying over a rock cliff. It even knows how to handle hardpack, allowing you to ski anywhere.  

What is the program of the Movement Fly 105 ski?

With 105 mm at the waist, a double rocker and a nice width at the tips, the Fly 105 handles very well in powder. You could even say it is its favourite terrain, as it works with ease in pow and has a blast throwing snow in slash turns. With this ski, you will be eager to go in the backcountry after a night of snow fall. While its wide waist makes it ideal for powder, the Fly 105 is surprisingly manoeuvrable on hard snow, where its classic camber allows to grip and control your trajectories, while its sandwich construction ensures torsional stiffness for more dynamism. Its capacity to turn short is very appreciated when skiing from one kick jump to the next in the terrain park or between side hits. You will be able to indulge in your wish of the moment and throw the trick you want as the twin-tip shape will adapt to the way you ski and the progressive flex at the tips will allow you to do presses.

How to choose the length of your skis?

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?
On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options: 

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show. 

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products. 

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
