Boom, when style and performance meet in one board. Say hello to the Helix, a wonderful Ride creation that is slowly but surely becoming the new iconic board, following the steps of the legendary DH which it replaces.
What can the Ride Helix snowboard do?
The Helix is a twin tipped board with a rather powerful flex pattern making it stand out of the crowded market of freestyle boards. Freestyle, and the rest! Indeed, the Helix is extremely versatile and that’s what makes it so special. It’s a board with tons of personality that will take you through any terrain the mountain has to offer. The camber of the board delivers lots of pop, rebound and maximises edge control and stability at high speed. It is the kind of board that you can take for a run on red or black park lines and throw it on kickers or kinked rails. And it is the kind of board that you can take on groomers to fine tune your carving technique all day long or race your friends in the border cross. It’s also the kind of board for shredding on bottomless powder. Its playful tips will make backcountry amateurs more than happy. The Helix is seriously fun.
Who is the snowboard Ride Helix designed for?
So much all-terrain performance has a price. The Helix is a demanding board that requires a bit of practice or great skills before you get comfortable with it. We recommend it to advanced or even expert riders looking for a freestyle-oriented deck that delivers high performance and versatility. Freestylers who are not aggressive enough may find it too stiff.

This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in three levels of technology, 3, 5, and 7.
Ride's exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Triaxial on top and biaxial below, torsion and stiffness are balanced for a better response at high speed.
Aspen wood very dense combined with bamboo and other light woods to provide a perfect balance between strength and lightweight.
Ride’s Pop Rods® give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition. Using strategic placement in the boards tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap a urethane slime-core, Pop Rods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime-core to smooth out the landing.
The asymmetric sidecut and board profile makes heelside control a breeze. Offering a perfect balance in the turn with different radii for the heel and toe sides, the board just feels right!
Stronger, harder, faster than extruded bases - known to be the fastest base (sintered)
