With the Ride Zero Jr, young snowboarders can ride a board specially designed for them, with a construction similar to adults’ models but with dedicated flex and sizes. The twin-tip shape allows to ride both ways and expand your bag of freestyle tricks. 

What is the programme of the Ride Zero Jr snowboard? 

The camber + double rocker profile offers excellent grip on groomers, especially as the asymmetrical edges provide better control. The turn radius is different on the backside and frontside edge to compensate for the lack of power on the toe side. Therefore, it’s of prime importance to instal the bindings properly in order for the edges to be the right way. Thanks to its soft flex that offers forgiveness and comfort, the Zero Jr allows young snowboarders to link turns with ease. The rocker areas on the tips improve the performance on ungroomed snow, allowing to discover the joys of powder riding.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
