Description

The Ride Superpig is a snowboard based on the shape of the Warpig but improved by advanced technologies. It offers exceptional performance, by being both powerful and technical. The board’s construction is truly impressive, with a quaking-aspen, paulownia and bamboo core reinforced on the binding area, layers of carbon, as well as specific carbon reinforcements. In addition, it features a rubber strip along the sidewalls for improved dampening and superior durability, as well as a high-end base for optimal glide. 

It is worth noting that this board is peculiar, it is recommended to pick a size 6 to 10 cm shorter than your usual board length. 

What is the programme of the Ride Superpig snowboard? 

The Ride Superpig snowboard works for a wide range of riding styles. Directional enough to offer great stability, while being balanced for some freestyle, whether it’s in the terrain park or backcountry. While it’s not a jib-dedicated board, it is ideal for jumps. Its powerful construction and stiff flex provide an intense behaviour in the descents. It excels in carving and can also do aggressive turns in the backcountry, thanks to the long nose rocker that facilitates turn entries and powder floatability. Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
