Among Dynastar’s touring skis, the M-Vertical 82 Open is one of the easiest models. It will allow skiers used to alpine skiing to discover ski touring, while experiencing similar sensations to what they are used to on groomed runs.

What is the program of the Dynastar M-Vertical 82 Open ski?

Made 50 % for the ascent and 50 % for the descent, the M-Vertical 82 Open versatile touring ski guarantees a 100 % fun day. When it comes to climbing mountains with skis on your feet, you will appreciate the lightness of its hybrid core made of paulownia and polyurethane. When the time comes to descend, the glass fibre reinforcements, classic camber with front rocker and versatile 82 mm waist will provide nice gliding sensations. With sidewalls in the centre of the ski and cap construction at the tips, the Mini-Cap Sandwich construction of the M-Vertical 82 Open finds the right balance between weight reduction for the ascent and stiffness to grip in the descent. Finally, the 3D Profile technology from Dynastar efficiently transfers the skier’s power from the centre of the ski toward the tips, for an even more stable skiability. This is a lightweight and forgiving ski, able to provide some intensity in the descents. This model has all the characteristics to discover the world of ski touring in a fun way. How to choose the length of your skis?

How to choose the size of your piste and all-mountain skis?
On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options: 

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show. 

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products. 

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
