The Wingman 75 Years Fusionx celebrates Elan's 75th anniversary with a superb retro design reminiscent of the famous RC Comprex X released in the winter of 1987/88. It's the widest and most versatile of the Wingman range, and allows you to carve with power and rhythm on piste while still being able to pass through powder on the slopesides. With its Fusion X plate attachment and structure that blends titanal and carbon, it's a real little racer that also benefits from an asymmetrical profile for more grip and natural curve entries. Its 86 mm of skid clearance means it's ready to take you out for a spin around the track. It floats well and unlocks efficiently in soft snow, while remaining stable on hard and soft snow. During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.
