Description

Ultra-compact, the Guide BT avalanche beacon by Black Diamond is a high-end device meant for knowledgeable enthusiasts and mountain professionals alike. It features 3 antennas and a range of 60 m. Its digital screen is clear and precise. It offers a send mode and a search mode. A multi-victim mode is also present with a Mark button to mark each victim before searching the next one. 

The bonus feature on this model is the vibration mode that switches on when detecting a signal and complements the usual visual and sound indications. It also features an integrated inclinometer to assess the gradient of the slope. Finally, it can be setup and updated via Bluetooth or USB cable (sold separately). 

This way professionals will be able to configure their device according to their liking and activate more complex advanced functions. They will also find a scan mode that allows to be even more efficient in case of multiple victims. The Black Diamond Guide BT transceiver is compatible with the electronic iProbe (sold separately).
