Description

Transceivers Pro Bt

The Pieps Pro BT avalanche beacon is compact and lightweight. Indeed, it weighs only 230 g with the included 3 AAA batteries. It comes with a holster that is very easy to wear under your ski jacket. The Pro BT features a backlit LCD display and a speaker that produces a precise sound to help guide you to the area of the buried skier or snowboarder.

What are the assets of the Pieps Pro BT?

Simple to use, the Pips Pro BT offers a 60 m search strip, a key element to quickly locate an avalanche victim. It features the Group check function to trace multiple people with compatible beacons. At the start of the day, it is easy to check if each transceiver is functioning properly. The Pro BT benefits from the Auto-Search-to-Send mode in case of a second avalanche. The devise switches automatically to send mode if you remain immobile for a certain time. All these functions can be activated/disabled in the settings or via the Pieps app on your smartphone.

What to do in the event of an avalanche?

To find a buried victim, switch to Search mode. A simple push on the Off/Send/Search button allows to switch from one mode to the other. Once the direction and distance are displayed on the screen, calmy follow the instructions. The Pro BT guides you with arrows and sounds to the burial area.
