Designed for fast outings where carrying needs to remain stable and unobtrusive, the Black Diamond Distance 15 backpack is aimed at alpine, trail and light hiking enthusiasts looking for compact volume and precise support. At 15 liters, this model prioritizes efficiency on the move, thanks in particular to a trail-inspired harness design that limits pressure points and accompanies dynamic gestures.

The construction is based on mostly recycled materials and a Ripstop UHMWPE finish developed by Black Diamond, offering a good compromise between lightness and abrasion resistance. The absence of seams in certain areas, made possible by Edge Taping technology, improves comfort and reduces chafing during prolonged efforts.

Storage organization is thought out for quick access with pockets on the shoulder straps, side compartments and space dedicated to flanges keep the essentials close at hand. Z-pole carry systems for ice axes or poles complete a coherent package for committed but light outings.
