Are you looking for an easy-to-use descender belayer for your route climbing sessions, both indoor and crag? The Click Up + from Climbing Tech might appeal to you. It's an innovative model, enabling lead or top-roping belaying with most dynamic single ropes on the market, since it accepts ropes with diameters ranging from 8.6 to 11 mm.

It's compact and lightweight, and its automatic rope locking system is reassuring for beginners. The Click Up + features the V-Proof System, which reduces risks due to a poorly maintained V-angle between the two strands. As a reminder, the belayer must ensure that the two strands of rope form as open a V-angle as possible on each side of the belay device, for optimal operation of the device when the rope is locked. If the angle is too small, the V-Proof System ensures that the rope meets the valve, which promotes rotation of the device and, consequently, blocking of the rope. The fall is stopped dead.

For even greater safety, the V-shaped braking grooves ensure effective belaying even if the direction of the rope has been reversed during assembly.

Finally, the climber's descent is simple, simply applying a little pressure with the thumb o of the hand on the device while maintaining tension on the free strand of the rope with the other hand.
