It was in Switzerland, in the Wolhusen family carpentry shop, that Josef Stöckli started manufacturing skis in the mid-1930s. His solid ash skis, initially designed for his personal use and that of his family and friends, are a real success. In 1935 he founded "Skifabrik Stöckli AG" and innovation became his priority. Since 1986, the factory has been located in the Lucerne village of Malters and produces more than 50,000 pairs of skis each year. The recipe for this success: more than 80 years of know-how, high-tech machines, noble materials (wood, bamboo fibre, carbon) and a handmade finish. The Stöckli brand offers top-of-the-range skis, without compromising quality and performance, as demonstrated by the fact that World Cup skis use the same manufacturing processes as standard skis. In other words, when you buy Stöckli skis you benefit from the same rigour as Julia Mancuso, Fanny Smith, Viktoria Rebensburg or Ilka Stuhec. Treat yourself to the champions' skis!
