Description

Essential for your safety when ski touring, binding crampons enhance your grip when climbing skins aren’t sufficient. Both when the slope is too steep, or the snow is hard or icy, binding crampons allow you to keep climbing. Keep in mind that they can’t replace proper mountaineering crampons on ice and can’t be used on rocks.

Make sure to pick a version compatible with your skis’ waist width. A few millimetres each side are required so that the crampons clear the sidewalls.

With the Fritschi Axion 86mm Eagle / Pro / Scout crampons, risky installation in difficult terrain is a thing of the past, as you can mount them at the start of your outing and use them at any time. On hard snow, at the foot of a steep slope, or before a delicate traverse, you can easily activate them with your ski pole and enjoy the grip they provide. As soon as you no longer need them, you can just as easily deactivate them. Therefore, you only store your Axion binding crampons in your backpack when removing your climbing skins. Axion crampons are the only ones to offer such ease of use, thus providing maximum safety.

These crampons are only compatible with Diamir, Scout, Eagle, and Freeride Pro bindings.
