What are the characteristics of the Fischer RCR Skate Medium cross-country ski?
Last step before switching to the RCS models, the RCR in its Medium version is a very good learning ski. Soft under the feet it offers an extraordinary ease of flattening and helps the skier to find stability on the phases of glide. The Medium camber is particularly recommended for small skiers or soft snow where it avoids the need to insert the spatula. The Air Core basalite core Basalite Pro combines honeycomb and basalt fibre veneer for a very well balanced weight/side stiffness compromise. The ski retains its shape on lateral thrust for maximum efficiency without loss of energy. The RCR is the first step in Fischer's high-end category, and its behavior is directly inspired by the brand's racing skis. The result is a ski that is very easy to skate on, allowing you to take the time to set up the technique without being pushed, which is even more the case on this Medium version with a softer camber. Equipped with IFP plates, it is designed for mounting Turnamic bindings, compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
Caution! Fischer skis are delivered pre-waxed to protect the soles during transport. It is therefore normal that you find soles with paraffin and the ski must be scraped at home before first use.
