Description
The latest soft snow racing model in the Madshus range comes almost as a surprise! Very shortly after the release of Redline 2.0 the Norwegian brand switched to a new version with a totally different focus. This Redline 3.0 Skate F3 is made for soft snow and simply replaces the Redline 2.0 Soft Conditions. What are the features of the Madshus Redline 3.0 Skate F3 cross-country ski? This new version of the Redline has been completely redesigned, adapted to soft snow, the F3 has a shorter camber which reduces the pressure zones of the ski. This helps the ski to float in soft snow and more or less deep snow. The camber is higher at the level of the runner, which allows the ends to release pressure on the ends and to have an efficient and dynamic ski flotation at the end of the lateral thrust. That said, the ski is impressively versatile and holds up very well on more compact snow, changes in snow can be sudden between clear and shaded portions of the piste for example. The other new feature is the sole, particularly the central guide groove. In order to make the ski less directional in soft snow, the groove has been drastically shortened! It is now only present from the skate to the heel! The result on soft snow is very conclusive, because the ski floats without any problem, and it facilitates very clearly the technical portions where a more directional ski would remain more anchored in the snow. As far as the structure is concerned, Madshus is in line with its PR 100X shell entirely coated with a triaxial carbon layer. This construction ensures a very present dynamism at the end of active thrust. The camber crushes homogeneously, and stability is, as always, the order of the day with Madshus. The P300 Nano sole has a versatile structure that allows the ski to go through fresh snow as well as deep processed snow. A ski that stands out due to its design, an exceptional product for the increasingly common snow conditions. Who is the Madshus Redline 3.0 Skate F3 cross-country ski for? First of all, it should be assumed that this is a ski for soft snow, which has a tendency to sink, all brands make models like this, but none has ever gone as far in its study of ski navigation. It is a model made for skiers who know the usefulness of a ski for soft snow and who already have a model for compact snow in their bag. It offers exceptional sensations on snow that is difficult to grasp when skating. A beautiful racing ski that connoisseurs will appreciate. What are the main qualities of the Madshus Redline 3.0 Skate F3 cross-country ski? Navigation in soft snow Spatula clearance in deep snow Dynamism |
