The palm, made from recycled polyester and elastane, offers grip and abrasion resistance when using poles. The structured grid-pattern lining aids breathability and moisture management, keeping hands dry during effort. When the wind picks up or a shower sets in, the windproof and waterproof fold-away mitten pulls over to add a protective layer without compromising grip. The short cuff slips easily under a jacket sleeve and keeps bulk to a minimum.
