With this model, Merrell offers the Moab Speed in an sustainable and responsible version. It features the same 10 mm drop that significantly inclines the shoe forward, encouraging speed and attack.
The overall cushioning is still impressive with a 50% recycled EVA foam insole, a generous EVA midsole, and a 30% recycled rubber outsole, all with a thick heel capable of absorbing all shocks and vibrations.
In terms of sustainability, there are also filly recycled laces and a 77% recycled jacquard upper.
Merrell offers this shoe in two versions: an ultra-breathable version without a waterproof membrane and a waterproof version denoted by the WP suffix.
The breathable models are perfect for hot summer days. The breathable mesh lining ensures quick sweat evaporation and prevents excessive foot heating, even during long runs.
