With the aim of minimizing its environmental impact, Auvergne-based brand Picture Organic, whose headquarters on the outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand are less than 15 minutes from ours, has eco-designed the Horse down jacket with 55% recycled polyester. Breathable and stretchy thanks to Polartec Power Stretch technology, it's lightweight and warm. Its Dupont Sorona insulation, known as a perfect alternative to down, ensures excellent protection against the cold. It's made from plant-based fibers, dries quickly and wicks moisture efficiently.

As well as providing a barrier against the cold, the Picture Horse down jacket is moisture-resistant, its outer fabric benefiting from the Teflon EcoElite treatment which, made from bio-based materials, is up to 3 times more durable than other PFC-free water-repellent treatments. Fitted with a full zipper and a slightly high collar, it can be worn on its own, as an outer layer or as a second layer under a waterproof-breathable ski or hiking jacket.
