In order to make it more accessible technically but also financially Rossignol took the decision to design the Delta Sport with an LDC Core, a compact foam on which rests a layer of basalt fibers thus increasing its rigidity and elasticity, in other words its dynamism. This is a wise choice, as Rossignol's work on the camber ensures a particularly surprising relaunch at the end of thrust on a ski from this range. The rest of the construction, and in particular the Activ Cap, supports Rossignol's desire to make its skis forgiving, which is why the brand chose the Activ Cap for greater flexibility at the ends and healthy behavior on rough terrain. The Extended Edge system is the final aspect of the ski's construction that has a major impact on its skiability. As you know, cross-country skis have no edges, but there's no other word for it.
