For many seasons, the Vitane RS has been a guarantee of quality and comfort for occasional to regular female sports skiers. This Prolink version will undoubtedly be a great success due to its wide choice of compatibility as it adapts to three binding systems: the NNN, Turnamic and Prolink.

What are the features of the Salomon RS Vitane Prolink cross-country ski boot?

On this new RS Vitane, Salomon has maintained most of its technologies and concepts proven over the years. For instance, the counter-sole combination remains the same as in previous versions. The carbon plate improves power transmission and lateral support, while the 3D Advanced Chassis gives excellent torsional rigidity as well as forgiveness and control. The Energyzer cuff remains exactly the same in terms of structure, but this year it comes with a new foam at the back, thinner, which lightens the entire structure while maintaining the same quality of comfort. The other new feature of this boot is the lace cover that now has a central closure, which replaces the diagonal system of the old models. The result is a much easier access to the liner and a much more efficient and wrinkle-free closure of the boot. The Quicklace Dissociated Lacing System provides a consistent and independent tightening of the forefoot and upper foot areas. The liner is specifically adapted to the female morphology and offers good precision without impacting the overall comfort of the boot. Equipped with the Salomon Prolink sole, this model adapts to other systems such as NNN and Turnamic, which gives a wide range of ski and binding choices. It is not compatible with the SNS Profil and SNS Pilot systems. The combination of comfort, precision and multiple compatibility possibilities it offers, makes it one of the best boots for skating.
