Product description — Expedition Carbon Pro Whippet Khaki

Poles Expedition Carbon Pro Whippet Khaki

The Black Diamond Expedition Carbon Pro Whippet Khaki is a telescopic ski touring pole with ice axe-style grip, a two-section carbon design built for days out where low weight, reliability and versatility matter. Its metal FlickLock Pro adjustment lets you change the length quickly, while the grip is compatible with the Whippet pick, giving you an extra point of support when the terrain gets steeper.

The grip and its EVA foam extension provide several hand positions when the slope or traverse calls for a change of hold. The straight-edged pommel can double as a scraper, while the textured rubber tip makes it easier to handle heel lifts and bindings. Black Diamond has also built a PH3 screwdriver bit and a 1.5 mm hex key into the lower section, handy for small adjustments out on the hill. The single-attachment wrist straps can be removed quickly when needed.

Is the Black Diamond Expedition Carbon Pro Whippet sold as a pair?

No, this pole is sold individually.

What is the adjustment range of the pole?

Its length is adjustable from 100 to 140 cm, so it can be adapted to different situations and body sizes.

How long is it when folded?

Folded, the Expedition Carbon Pro Whippet measures 90 cm.
