Description

There are so many techs packaged into the Ion that listing them all would be painful. This is a high-end boot that keeps your feet dry, warm and comfy while it's ripping the whole mountain with fierce. The Infinite Ride 4 liner gets close to perfection by offering high reactivity and tons of fit (heatmoldable) for an optimal hold. It features ankle reinforcements and a 3D molded tongue allowing fit adjustments in case you want to ride tight in the morning and cruise loose to finish up the day. The instep (where laces apply pressure) has a gel pad for added comfort and the outsole was jointly developped with Pirelli just to make sure you grip as much as a Formula 1 and absorbs shocks better than a rallye car. The Ion sets the bar high, but you surely can triple cork over it!

 

What our testers say : High end, high performance, high everything. The boot left us speechless. So much comfort for so little weight, we didn't think it was achievable. And these two qualities are backed up with high performance which is another blast. The boot is stiff though, that's why it's so precise and powerful, and that's also why we won't recommend it to beginners. It needs skills to be tamed but powerful freestylers will love it as much as more versatile advanced riders do.
