Description

The Westmark Frank April is the perfect companion for Frank's delirium and his street prowess. A sturdy board that's tough and crisp, but still playable. The construction is, as always with Arbor, very qualitative and as ecological as possible. There is an FSC-certified poplar/paulownia wood shell, a bioplastic topsheet, bioresin, recycled steel edges and a factory waxing that includes a plant-based wax.

What is the programme of the Arbor Westmark Frank April snowboard?

The Westmark Frank April is a pure twin-tip, perfectly symmetrical providing as many options as possible for freestyle, balance and ease for switch passes. Its tonic construction combined with a classic camber allows you to get a dynamic board with ollie pop, which retains the flex on the spatulas to place a tailpress without any problem. This is a board optimised for freestyle, with even small flip tips, a slightly raised spatula tip for a better playability on the modules and during flat tricks. A dynamic freestyle board, stiffer than the board you used to use for your first tricks, perfect for throwing big stuff in the street or in the snowpark.

Who is the Arbor Westmark Frank April snowboard for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders looking for the perfect board for a committed freestyle practice. Whether you're a street enthusiast, a familiar face in the snowpark or simply a resort rider you're going to love this board!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
