Snowboard Camel Toe

Freeride lovers, of intermediate and advanced level alike, will be pleased by the Bataleon Camel Toe snowboard and its directional shape. With its generous nose, fish tail and setback foot stance, powder turns will be a treat. Its rather soft flex makes the board easier to control while still providing rebound. Although it remains comfortable to use on groomers with good edge grip and allows for light carving, its classic camber + rocker profile and 3BT and Sidekick technologies promote smooth edge transfers and float in powder. This is the type snow in which this snowboard will perform at its best. A great choice for those who want to venture beyond the boundaries and enjoy turns in fresh powder.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
