Description

The Party Wave stands out with its obvious directional shape and V shaped tail. You should choose this board 5 to 10 cm shorter than usual. The Party Wave features a generous nose and setback stance, it offers lots and lots of floatability to party in fresh snow. The tips feature the 3BT and Sidekick technologies, their 3D shape promotes the smoothness of weight transfer and the floatability in pow. We are dealing with a board that will surf on powder and give you maximum fun. However, if the conditions are less than ideal, the classic camber on the entire length of the board gives good grip on hardpack to ride groomers. The accessible flex and short turn radius allow the Party Wave to be nimble and comfortable on short turns. An ultra-fun board in powder that also works on the slopes for snowboarders from the intermediate/advanced level.

What are the main assets of the Bataleon Party Wave snowboard?

Floatability

Responsiveness

Nimbleness

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
