Description

The Bataleon Spirit is a " twin directional " type snowboard, symmetrical between nose and tail but with a slightly set back position of the feet which permits to improve Manoeuvrability and versatility. For the rest, there is a fairly flexible wood shell, edges reinforced against shocks and the 3BT profile which enables tolerance on edge faults.

What is the Bataleon Spirit snowboard programme?

The Bataleon Spirit is a versatile freestyle snowboard, perfect for riding in the resort and for tricks. It is very technically accessible, thanks to its flexible flex which provides Comfort in the supports, but also thanks to the 3BT and the Sidekick, a concave shape at the tips which eliminates unnecessary grip to reduce the risk of edge faults in cut turns. The small classic camber in the centre of the board ensures a secure grip on the track, yet provides the confidence to make the turns without difficulty. With the Bataleon Spirit, you'll find it easy to ride whether on the slopes, on the edges of the slopes or in the snowpark!

Who is the Bataleon Spirit snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginner snowboarders, but we also recommend it to more advanced snowboarders looking to move towards freestyle and therefore in need of a board that is flexible and playful.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Spirit snowboard?

Tolerant

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
