Description

The Burton Blossom is an all-mountain freestyle board, designed for experienced snowboarders who enjoy spending their days in the terrain park while sending tricks on side hits now and then.

What is the Burton Blossom snowboard made for?

The Blossom features an FSC™ Super Fly II™ 700G core, reinforced by Squeezebox High technology and Triax fiberglass. These elements provide lightness, stability and responsiveness. Its True Twin shape and traditional camber provide excellent grip on groomers, while keeping the board playful for freestyle. The Frostbite edges and Sintered WFO base finish the construction for maximum performance.

Who is the Burton Blossom snowboard aimed at?

The Blossom is recommended to advanced and expert snowboarders seeking a versatile board to express themselves both on groomers and in the terrain park. Its lightness and stability make it an ideal board for those looking to push their limits.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
