Description

The Feelgood Flying V is a directional twin, i.e. a board that is symmetrical from nose to tail, but with a foot position that is setback towards the tail allowing for an easy lift in powder and manoeuverability on all terrains. It offers a well-balanced flex for responsiveness while maintaining comfort, while its Flying V camber makes it even more versatile and comfortable to ride.

What is the program of the Burton Feelgood Flying V snowboard?

The Feelgood Flying V is a very versatile board, capable of riding on all types of snow. Its Flying V camber offers more forgiveness than a classic camber in terms of edge faults, while also benefiting from a better lift on fresh snow. On the other hand, the position of the feet is slightly setback, which shifts the weight to the rear, allowing the nose to be pulled effortlessly out into the snow, while making it easier to get into a curve whatever the terrain. This is a board that is comfortable to ride, with a construction that offers dynamism while remaining comfortable on the supports and comfortable for freestyle enthusiasts.

This model is ideal for an intermediate or advanced snowboarder with a versatile riding style. If you like to vary the terrains, do a little freestyle and are looking for a good compromise between performance and comfort, the Feelgood Flying V will suit you perfectly.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
