Description

The Biddy model from the American skate and snowboard brand DC is a female snowboard that focuses on playability, forgiveness and versatility. It can be used on all types of snow, always offering manoeuvrability and, when on the slopes, good tolerance on edge faults.

What is the program of the DC Biddy snowboard?

The DC Biddy combines all the ingredients that provides pleasure at the resort as beginner, not yet sure of yourself or haven't snowboarded in a long time! Thus, its wooden core is flexible enough to ride without forcing on the legs, while its reverse camber is designed to limit edge errors when you make your first turns on the piste. There is also a slightly reclined foot position that makes it even easier to get into turns. And the bonus is that the reverse camber allows the board to glide better in powder, and the symmetrical shape of the nose and tail makes switching easier. Get confident and have fun with the DC Biddy!

Who is the DC Biddy snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginners/intermediate snowboarders looking for a versatile and easy to ride snowboard with which they can easily learn the basics and progress throughout the resort.

What are the main qualities of the DC Biddy snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
