The Black Torsion from Easy Snowboards is a snowboard with a twin-tip shape, ideal for freestyle riding, a flat camber with a good balance between grip and forgiveness, as well as a friendly but evolutive medium flex. 

What is the Easy Black Torsion snowboard made for? 

The Black Torsion is an all-mountain freestyle board, ideal to start smoothly and progress in the entire ski area. With this model, you will enjoy a good balance between grip and forgiveness on the slopes and good glide on soft and fresh snow. Its not too stiff flex helps making it easy to handle, it is physically accessible and technically forgiving. It still features a carbon stringer in the middle to provide rebound in the turns and more pop for ollies. The twin-tip shape ebales to ride switch no problem, offering lots of options in freestyle. This board is easy to ride, perfect to progress in all-mountain freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
