Description

The Easy Hunter is an all-mountain freestyle-oriented snowboard, with a twin-tip shape paired to a flat camber + rocker profile, as well as a high-quality construction with wood core, glass fibre, carbon reinforcement and high-density base for a very smooth glide.

What is the program of the Easy Hunter snowboard?

Thanks to its twin-tip shape, the Easy Hunter fits in the freestyle category. It allows to ride switch and send tricks aplenty. Its flat camber + rocker profile matches well the all-terrain freestyle program, as the flat camber section facilitates tricks while the rockers allow to better lift in soft and powder snow. For hardpack, you can count on the serrated edges for good grip. By the way, the edges are made from a premium steel for maximum strength and durability. The Hunter does not lack responsiveness and stability. You find a poplar and beech wood core offering rebound, reinforced by a double layer of glass fibre, as well as carbon and kevlar strips placed at the tips to provide both rebound and cushioning. With this board you can ride on any type of snow, to have fun on and off-piste alike, but also shred the terrain park. A very versatile board to freestyle everywhere.

Who is the Easy Hunter snowboard for?

We recommend this model to advanced freestyle enthusiasts looking for a versatile and efficient snowboard with which they will be able to send tricks really anywhere in the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
