Product description — Mountain Twin Pro

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Mountain Twin Pro is a versatile freestyle snowboard designed to transition from on-piste carving to natural jumps and fresh powder runs, offering precise, stable, and dynamic handling.

What is the Jones Mountain Twin Pro snowboard designed for?

The Mountain Twin Pro is geared toward aggressive all-mountain freestyle riding, with enough pop to launch off kickers, play with the terrain, and maintain efficiency when riding switch. Its directional twin shape retains the agility of a twin while providing more support on the tail and better lift thanks to the slightly rear-set inserts. The camber + rocker profile combines grip, rebound, and forgiveness at the tips, while Traction Tech enhances edge hold on hard snow. The Power Core, basalt reinforcements, carbon-Innegra, and triaxial fiber create a stiff, stable, and responsive board capable of maintaining speed without losing dynamism.

Who is the Jones Mountain Twin Pro snowboard designed for?

The Mountain Twin Pro is designed for intermediate to expert riders who want a board that’s physical, precise, and high-performance across the entire mountain. Its stiffness, pronounced pop, and reinforced construction require commitment to be fully utilized.

Is the Mountain Twin Pro suitable for freestyle?

Yes. Its directional twin shape, pop, and solid landing stability make it at home on kickers, side hits, and features, with a ride that’s more powerful than forgiving.

Does the Mountain Twin Pro float well in powder?

Yes. The tip rockers, Blunt nose, and slightly rear-set inserts facilitate lift in fresh snow, while maintaining freestyle performance.

Does the Mountain Twin Pro grip well on hard snow?

Yes. The camber underfoot and Traction Tech increase contact points with the snow, improving grip and precision on groomed runs or packed snow.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
