The Tweaker is the first pure twin-tip from the Jones. This freestyle-oriented snowboard is no less versatile and keeps the brand’s DNA and therefore good capabilities on powder. It also benefits from a sustainable construction using bio sourced or recycled materials. 

What is the program of the Jones Tweaker snowboard? 

The Jones Tweaker is designed to ride creatively, throw tricks, ollies and butters everywhere in the ski area. To do so, it features a symmetrical shape allowing to ride both switch and regular so that you have maximum freestyle options. The flex is well-balanced and symmetrical from nose to tail. The Classic Core offers more flexibility between the feet, promoting manoeuvrability, while the firmer tips provide pop and rebound for big ollies and confident landings. The traditional camber on the entire length of the board provides very good grip, helped by the Traction Tech edges, allowing to carve with confidence on hardpack. The tips feature the 3D Contour Base technology, their convex shape limits the risk of catching an edge, making the Tweaker more forgiving for tricks and ensuring a smooth glide on powder. A freestyle board with the Jones twist, meaning very good handling for all-mountain riding.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
