Snowboard Party Platter Design

The K2 Party Platter Design is a versatile snowboard that allows to ride everything, freeride and freestyle alike. Comfortable in powder, it features a directional shape, a slightly tapered tail compared to the nose, as well as a substantial front rocker to improve the ability to lift and the nimbleness. The classic camber, balanced flex and centred foot stance enable to use the Party Platter Design to quench your thirst for freestyle action by venturing on the slopes and in the terrain park. Grip is good, it ensures rebound out of turns and very responsive pop, thanks to the Ollie Bar technology. This makes this model perfect for all-mountain riding, to turn the mountains into your playground, be it to slash powder with beautiful turns, do stylish grabs in the park or send rotations on natural jumps!

A very versatile board to have fun in all-mountain riding, do some freestyle and enjoy the good snow conditions when they are there.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
