The Lib Tech Dynamo is a directional snowboard that is accessible, versatile, and well-balanced. It’s designed for riders looking to improve their skills and discover freeriding and carving so they can fully enjoy the full range of sensations that this wonderful sport has to offer.

What are the features of the Lib Tech Dynamo snowboard?

It’s a versatile freeride board, equally at home on long turns and in powder, with precise and confident handling. Its directional shape provides a stable track and lift in fresh snow. The Camber profile provides good edge grip.

Who is the Lib Tech Dynamo snowboard designed for?

Designed for the intermediate to advanced rider, the Dynamo is aimed at those who want to improve their freeriding and carving skills.

  • Riders who enjoy carving on the slopes as well as riding in powder.
  • Riders looking for a balanced and reliable directional board.

A top choice if you want a versatile freeride board to help you improve. Avoid this if you’re looking for a twin-tip board for the park.

Stability

Does the Dynamo carve well on groomed runs?

Yes, that’s one of its strengths: its C3 profile and edges provide solid grip on groomed snow. It inspires confidence in turns.

How is this model eco-friendly?

Manufactured at Mervin’s eco-friendly factory in the United States, the Dynamo utilizes bio-based materials, renewable energy, and optimized waste management to minimize its environmental impact.

What’s the difference between the Dynamo and the Cold Brew?

The Dynamo features a grippier C3 hybrid camber, which is formidable on the piste, while the Cold Brew features a more forgiving C2 W Rocker profile, designed for a smooth learning experience. Two intermediate directional freeride boards—one more aggressive, the other more playful.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
