Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Ejack Knife is the top-of-the-line freestyle board in the catalog, an explosive directional board born from a collaboration with pro Eric Jackson. It’s a board designed for seasoned and expert riders who want to go all out in every spot, from technical backcountry to the park.

What’s the deal with the Lib Tech Ejack Knife snowboard?

It’s a versatile and powerful freestyle board, built to ride hard all over the mountain. Its tapered directional shape and offset inserts maintain control and floatation while allowing for switch riding. The C3 profile—combining camber with a central rocker—delivers fantastic pop and formidable grip, with a stiff flex that demands commitment.

Who is the Lib Tech Ejack Knife snowboard designed for?

Designed for intermediate to expert riders, the Ejack Knife is aimed at those looking for a powerful board for maximum thrills.

  • Riders who aren’t afraid to go all out.
  • Those who want explosive pop for their ollies and jumps.
  • Technical freestylers who are comfortable off-piste.

A top choice if you ride aggressively and are looking for pop and grip. Avoid it if you’re a beginner or want a forgiving board: it’s demanding.

What are the main features of the Lib Tech Ejack Knife snowboard?

Versatility

Why does the Ejack Knife have so much pop?

Its construction and C3 camber give it explosive pop for powerful ollies and jumps. This is one of its major strengths.

Can you ride the Ejack Knife switch?

Yes, its directional shape remains balanced and allows for switch riding. However, its natural head-up tendency is toward the front.

What’s the difference between the Ejack Knife and the Doughboy?

The Ejack Knife is a stiff directional board with explosive pop and formidable grip, built for going all out, while the Doughboy is a flexible, oversized board geared toward jibbing and having fun. Two expert freestyle boards—one powerful, the other playful.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
