Description

Inspired by the Skate Banana, Lib Tech's legendary versatile freestyle board, the Glider also offers maximum playability on all types of snow allowing you to have fun and enjoy your riding days to the fullest. It has been manufactured in an eco-friendly way in the Mervin factory in the United States, which uses electricity from a sustainable source, considerably limits waste, favours Biosourced materials, etc.

What is the Lib Tech Glider snowboard program?

The Glider is a twin-tip, that is to say it is a board perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, with which you can ride indifferently in switch or in your natural sense. It is the ideal board for maximum options in freestyle. In addition, the playability offered by the medium-soft flex and the Original Banana hybrid camber make this board really forgiving when it comes to tricks, whether you're doing press or sliding on the snowpark boxes. If you're not into freestyle, you'll enjoy the comfort and versatility offered by the Original Banana camber, which allows you to ride both on and off the pistes in all conditions.

Who is the Lib Tech Glider snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a playful and versatile board with which they can have fun all over the resort, whether it is for relaxed rides or for sending tricks.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
