The Lost Rocket is a similar model to the Rasman with a very versatile program, even if its preferred discipline remains freeride. Rather stiff and physically demanding, if offers pop, stability and power to fully enjoy the entire resort no matter the conditions.  

What is the program of the Lib Tech Lost Rocket snowboard?

It is designed with a wood core combining paulownia and aspen, reinforced by biaxial glass fibre. The result is a rather stiff board, requiring a good physical condition but that can be playful when you know how to handle it. Someone who manages to tame it will then enjoy control, precision responsive pop and great high-speed stability. With its directional shape it is manoeuvrable in pow and the Lost Rocket turns effortlessly and rides with ease off-piste. The Banana hybrid camber, which consists of alternating classic and reverse camber areas, improves the floatability and ensures the required grip on harder snow. Perfect for insane pure freeride sessions going through groomed runs at will, the Lost Rocket traces and enables to slash fresh snow at full speed changing paces when riding between trees.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
