The Lib Tech T.Rice Golden Orca is an all-mountain freeride board that performs very well in a wide range of conditions, from the backcountry to groomers. It has a directional shape with a W Rocker profile for great versatility and a high-quality construction with an Aspen / Paulownia core, as well as basalt reinforcements.

Thanks to its W Rocker profile and directional shape, the T.Rice Golden Orca guarantees exceptional control and responsiveness in various conditions. The Magne-Traction serrated edges improve grip on hardpack, while the C2X camber provides excellent floatability on powder, with its reverse camber section. The Sintered base promises good durability and optimal glide, making sure the board is ready for any condition you can encounter in the mountains.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
