Description

The Nitro Beast is a twin-tip snowboard featuring classic camber offering good grip on piste. Its symmetrical shape makes it as comfortable in switch as in regular and its construction is powerful and durable.  

What is the program of the Nitro Beast snowboard?

The Beast is primarily designed to be ridden in the terrain park and on groomers. Indeed, the classic camber and twin-tip shape make it an ideal board on groomed snow and for freestyle. On piste it ensures good edge hold, rebounds out of turns and remain stable at high-speed. For freestyle, it has great pop and is comfortable both ways, allowing to ride switch to boost your creativity. The Raillkiller Edges and urethane reinforced sidewalls improve durability on rails and boxes in the terrain park. Impact resistance is enhanced by the Ballistic Impact Panels, kevlar inserts located at the inserts.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
