With its perfectly symmetrical twin shape, both in geometry and flex, the Nitro Cheap Thrills is a playful freestyle snowboard cut out for jibing and creative linking. It performs very well across the board, offering both stability on groomed runs and comfort on softer or ungroomed snow.

What's in it for the Nitro Cheap Thrills snowboard?

The Cheap Thrills is a true twin tip dedicated to freestyle, designed to perform as well in switch as in regular. Its supple tip facilitates presses and allows great freedom in all jib tricks. It is particularly suited to riders who like to ride with a stance duck (type -15 / +15) to link rotations and switch passages. Its flat camber ensures good grip without being too demanding, making it just as at home on piste as in light powder or spring snow. Each length is designed with a specific core to optimize flex and feel underfoot. Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
