The Nitro Dinghy is a snowboard with a very directional shape. It features a wide nose and very pronounced rocker, traditional camber in the centre and a tapered swallow-shaped tail. This particular shape provides maximum lift and floatation on powder, while facilitating turn entries. The foot stance is very setback, to lift even better and offer easier handling. The board is ultra-instinctive to ride. It is ideal to surf on pow and slalom smoothly between the trees with style. The flex is well-balanced, punchy while remaining comfortable to ride, a perfect match for the board's program. Finally, the traditional camber in the centre provides grip on hard snow when required. A few laps on groomers are possible. A good second board for an advanced snowboarder looking to have fun on pow.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
