The Nitro Fate is a women's snowboard offering versatility and performance. With its directional twin shape, it excels in freestyle while being able to perform on the entire mountain. It's more responsive than the Mystique, but still accessible in terms of skills and fitness. The Fate lets you pick up intensity and increase your downhill speed. Its traditional camber and dynamic core offer excellent grip on groomed snow and rebound from one turn to the next. Entering turns is made easier by the slightly setback stance, facilitating carving. The rockers improve lift, allowing you to take advantage of fresh snow off-piste. Versatile, the Fate also gives you the chance to try tricks in the terrain park thanks to its good forgiveness. This board will satisfy intermediate and experienced snowboarders looking for a versatile board offering a balanced flex between stiffness and flexibility for fun in the entire ski area.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
