Description

Directional shape, slightly set back foot position, flexible flex, flat camber: everything about the Nitro Lectra is designed to encourage learning and providing manoeuvrability throughout the station. You want to start snowboarding and progress quickly? Here is the magic formula, the secret recipe!

What is the program of the Nitro Lectra snowboard?

With a directional shape, tapered on the back and combined with a slightly set back foot position, the Lectra is naturally easy to handle on all terrains. This design is made to make it easier for you to enter curves, but it also has the added advantage of working better than a non-directional board on fresh snow, spring snow and processed snow at the end of the day. Nevertheless, it remains safe on hard snow, with a flat camber providing the ideal compromise between grip and edge fault tolerance. Finally, the flexibility of the board really allows you to link turns and descents without getting exhausted.

Who is the Nitro Lectra snowboard designed for?

This model is designed for beginners or occasional snowboarders, looking for manoeuvrability and tolerance for smooth progression and fun throughout the resort. Low energy consuming, it’s not physically demanding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
