Description

The Nitro Mercy offers a good compromise between performance and accessibility allowing you to gradually build up power and develop your freestyle tricks. It is not limited to the snowpark and performs well throughout the resort.

What is the program of the Nitro Mercy snowboard?

Like any self-respecting freestyle board, the Mercy is perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, offering the greatest possible ease in switching and in all tricks that require you to turn the board upside down. The Mercy is also well balanced in the flex, toned enough for ollie pop but flexible enough providing playable on the spatulas. The camber + rockers profile provides a good grip on hard snow while allowing you to go over soft snow and small powder on the edges of the piste. Finally, with more edges and sidewalls reinforced to better resist impacts on rails and boxes, it’s to be understood that with this Nitro board, the snowpark is at your mercy!

Who is the Mercy Nitro snowboard for?

This model is intended for intermediate/confirmed snowboarders who spends lots of time at the snowpark or freestyle in the rest of the resort. Its playability allows them to place maximum tricks and ride leisurely on the slopes and edges of the piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
